Our comprehensive beauty therapy and nail technology course offers you complete beauty therapy and nail technology training through the Diploma in Beauty Therapy and Applied Aesthetics, comprised of the Certificates in Aesthetics (Facial Therapy), Physiatrics (Body Therapy) and Electrology (Epilation), and the Certificate in Nail Technology in one course.

This course covers the Certificates in Aesthetics, Physiatrics, Electrology and Nail Technology in one course.

Completing this course qualifies you as both a full beauty therapist and a full nail technician.

  • This is the most comprehensive, "purest", internationally-integrated and longest-running beauty therapy course in the South Island, and one of the longest-running beauty therapy courses in New Zealand.
  • It is important to note that any beauty therapy course you are looking at undertaking complies with the following:
    • It takes a year to complete full-time (120 credits); and
    • You undertake supervised practical training (required for employment); and
    • It includes all the subjects as we have listed below, incorporating facial therapy, body therapy and electrology work. Also make sure it includes all facial and body electricals as you need these to work on a cruise ship and in many clinics here and overseas.

  • All prices include 15% GST and are in New Zealand dollars.
  • See Application and Enrolment Dates for further information. To avoid disappointment, the school highly suggests applying for your course as soon as the enrolment opens.
  • For this course, we require at least 8 students to be enrolled a week-and-a-half prior to the course starting date in order for it to proceed.
  • Domestic students: You must pay a $100 deposit when you enrol. You cannot pay the deposit, or get it reimbursed through, a student loan. This $100 goes towards your total fees.

    • International students must pay their entire course fee on enrolment.
