Pre-Requisite Qualifications for the Diploma in Spa Therapies Course

In order to be considered for enrolment into the 120 credit version of the Diploma in Spa Therapies (spa therapies components only), you must hold one of the following qualifications or equivalent (as determined by the school):

For Qualified Body Therapists

For Qualified Beauty Therapists or Massage Therapists

For All Students

You will also be expected to hold a current Workplace First Aid Certificate.

Students who do not hold one of the pre-requisite qualifications will have to undertake the following courses in addition to the Spa Therapies courses:

Special Notes about the Diploma in Spa Therapies Course

  • All prices include 15% GST and are in New Zealand dollars.
  • See Application and Enrolment Dates for further information. To avoid disappointment, we highly suggest applying for your course as soon as the enrolment opens.
  • For this course, we require at least 8 students to be enrolled a week-and-a-half prior to the course starting date in order for it to proceed.
  • * Programme fees listed may be tentative only. We usually do not know definitive prices for the following year until funding is approved and other policies are released.
  • Domestic students: You must pay a $100 deposit when you enrol. You cannot pay the deposit by, or get it reimbursed, a student loan. This $100 goes towards your total fees.
  • International Students: Please see the International Students section.
    • International students must pay their entire course fee on enrolment.
  • We are only offering the 120 credit option in 2018, and the prices listed above reflect this price. You must already have the equivalent of the Statement of Achievement in Anatomy, Physiology and Massage units in order to enrol.
