Scott Fack

Director of Operations at The National School of Aesthetics

Scott Fack is the Director of Operations at The National School of Aesthetics. He’s responsible for the quality management systems, polices and procedures, and other government regulatory processes within the school. Scott also creates and publishes the school Web site, social media accounts, the school’s publicity materials, and many forms in use at the school. He’s the main contact with the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) and Tertiary Education Commission (TEC).

About Scott Fack

Scott Fack joined the National School of Aesthetics team in 1996 in an educational advisory role until 1998, when he became the Manager of Operations. In 1999, Scott was promoted to the Director of Operations. He also is responsible for the design and updating of this Web site (and other Aesthetics Group Web sites) and was the chief ITEC reflexology tutor at the school. He has been active as a supporting member of the beauty therapy industry for over 25 years.

Scott has experience in dealing with corporate America and training in education. Like Noel, Scott is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the school, including liaison with ITEC, CIDESCO, NZQA, TEC, StudyLink, WINZ and the Ministry of Education. He was chiefly responsible for gaining the school AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000 Accreditation in 2002.

He is also a creative writer, attending both Massey University and Hagley Writers’ Institute over the last few years in creative writing courses. In 2022, Scott received a mentorship funded by Creative New Zealand through the New Zealand Society of Authors for his novel-in-progress. In 2023, he started his Masters in Creative Writing through Massey University.

NZQA requires all governing members at every training education organisation in New Zealand are required to declare any conflicts of interest and interests in other organisations. This is the declaration, as signed by Scott Fack, on 19 August 2019:
