Our new programme approvals for the 2020 academic year have been with the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) since July 2019.
Yesterday, NZQA formally approved our combined New Zealand Certificate and Diploma in Beauty Therapy programme. We are also accredited to teach it.
All new students from 2020 will be offered the combined New Zealand Certificate and Diploma in Beauty Therapy programme only for studying beauty therapy. This means all students will gain both the certificate and diploma in 18 months (instead of the normal 2 years).
This morning, we submitted an application to the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) for funding approval for the New Zealand Diploma in Beauty Therapy programme. We already have made our 2020 funding plans available to TEC.
