COVID-19 Update for Clinic Days and Visitors: 22 September 2020

The Government has reduced the alert level of all regions in New Zealand outside of Auckland to Alert Level 1 at 11:59 PM on Monday, 21 September 2020. This returns life in New Zealand outside of Auckland to a relatively normal, mostly pre-COVID-19 state.

This notice contains information for different audiences. You can choose from the following information:


COVID-19 Notice

COVID-19 is a contagious disease.

New Zealand outside of Auckland is currently at Alert Level 1. You can find out more information on alert levels at www.covid19.govt.nz

As of 1 PM on Monday, 21 September 2020, we have 0 active cases of COVID-19 in Christchurch (or in New Zealand outside of Auckland and not including in managed isolation of overseas people returning to New Zealand), and we have no wider community transmission of the virus at this stage in Christchurch (or in New Zealand outside of Auckland). We do need to remain vigilant.

Do NOT visit our campus if you have:

  • Chills, shivering, and / or fever (temperature above 38C)
  • Coughing and / or sore throat
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Sneezing / runny nose or loss of sense of smell
  • Suspect you have been in contact with Coronavirus

Clinic Days Information

Clinic Reopening

  • Our clinic is still open.
  • Appointments will be held on Thursdays and Fridays.
  • The school (and therefore clinic) is closed during the October school holidays.

Contact Tracing

  • You will need to complete a contact tracing form at reception before you enter the school proper.
  • You will need to sign out at reception before you leave the school.

Personal Hygiene

We require you to remain vigilant with hand washing and hand sterilisation.

  • Any client using the washroom should wash their hands with soap using the diagrams listed in the washroom for 20 seconds or more, dry their hands with the paper towels provided, and use the paper towels to open the door. Paper towels can be disposed of in the trash can in the small corridor outside the washrooms.
  • Any client is encouraged to use the hand sanitiser available in the public areas of the school after they have touched any surface.

Visitor Requirements

Appointments

Visitors must have an appointment before visiting the school, even if dropping something off.

We would appreciate if all bookings were made using our booking system.

If you show up without an appointment, we will send you away to make an appointment.

All visitors are expected to supply truthful information including:

  • Their full name
  • Their full home address
  • Their email address
  • Their cell phone number
  • Questions regarding their own health and any potential exposure to COVID-19
