COVID-19 Update: 18 August 2021

The New Zealand Government announced at 6 PM on Tuesday, 17 August 2021 that all of New Zealand would move to Alert Level 4 as of 11:59 PM on Tuesday, 17 August 2021. For regions outside of Auckland and the Coromandel, Alert Level 4 will last until at least 11:59 PM on Friday, 20 August 2021.

We were previously at Alert Level 1.

COVID-19 Notice

COVID-19 is a contagious disease.

All New Zealand regions are currently at Alert Level 4. You can find out more information on alert levels at www.covid19.govt.nz

As of 9 AM on Wednesday, 18 August 2021, we have 0 active cases of COVID-19 in the community in Canterbury, and we have no wider community transmission of the virus at this stage. We do need to remain vigilant.

Do NOT visit our campus if you have:

  • Headaches
  • Chills, shivering, and / or fever (temperature above 38C)
  • Coughing and / or sore throat
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Sneezing / runny nose or loss of sense of smell
  • Suspect you have been in contact with Coronavirus

Student Information

  • Classes are now being run online / remotely due to being at Alert Level 4.
  • Students have been notified of their assignments via email from our main email address.
  • When we return to an alert level permitting classes, all students will be required to:
    • Scan in using the NZ COVID Tracer app every time they enter the building

Clinic Days Information

  • All clinic day appointments for Thursday, 19 August 2021 and Friday, 20 August 2021 are cancelled due to being at Alert Level 4.
  • When we return to an alert level permitting clinic days, all clients will need to:
    • Scan in using the NZ COVID Tracer app
    • Sign in with full details on the register at reception.

Visitor Requirements

  • All appointments for Wednesday, 18 August 2021, Thursday, 19 August 2021, and Friday 20, August 2021 are cancelled due to being at Alert Level 4.
  • When we return to an alert level permitting appointments, all visitors will need to:

    • Sign in with full details on the register at reception.
