COVID-19 Update — COVID-Positive Case Confirmed at School

This story is no longer valid.

Updated Thursday, 24 February 2022 at 12:30 PM. We have struck through outdated information (like this) and added updated information in the updated information section.

We have confirmation a student in the intermediate beauty therapy classes has tested positive for COVID-19. From what we understand, this student was asymptomatic when she attended class on Monday, 21 February 2022 but developed symptoms on Monday night.

Based on this information, we have made the decision to temporarily close the school on Thursday, 24 February 2022 and Friday, 25 February 2022 out of an abundance of caution.

This will allow any further cases to become clearer when or where they may happen.

Catherine will be sending through work for the beauty therapy students to undertake.

Karen will be sending through work for the nail technology students to undertake.
